my fair Juliet

I went to see the Romeo and Juliet play as a field trip, after we finnished reading the play. I would have to say that the best part of the play was Mercutio, he really added humor to the otherwise boring production.

My dress was my mom's that I found when she was cleaning out her closet and she was going to donate it, I think. Thank goodness I rescued it, it is vintage and very beautiful. I hemmed it a bit shorter than it is supposed to be because it was a bit too long for my taste.

Ah, wow this is a picture I came across just yesterday. This picture was from a cheerleading sleepover at my coach's house three years ago. I happen to be the tallest one, fifth from the left. We dressed up in my coach's boots (wow does she have a ton) and accessories. We had a whole little ANTM-esque competition and we all had model names. Mine happened to be Shaniqua.

I finally actually made cupcakes! They are sunflowers, and were super easy to make. Just an oreo, and some colorful icing!

I decided to make a blog because I want to share an insight into my life with you.

The name of my blog is sweet like cupcakes because I absolutely LOVE cupcakes. Cupcakes are just so little (or big) and adorable! For Christmas I recieved a very lovely book, Hello, Cupcake, from Santa. It has inspired me to create some very cute desserts in the near future. When I make cupcakes, I'll post pictures of them.

Another part of my life is fashion. I really enjoy creaating some very original outfits. I buy most (if not all) of my clothing on sale! It means a lot to me to save my money to use it to buy something nice. I'll also post pictures of outfit combinations I create.
